Modern science is the offspring of the accuracy and testing methods of its father, the Bible. The faith that there is something out there for science to discover and that we are commissioned to discover come from from the mother of science, the Church. Neither parent has anything to fear from this child. There would be no such thing as modern science were it not for the pioneering research of Cathoic monks and priests during the middle ages and Christian believers during the Reformation. It was the freedom to investigate an assumed order to a created universe that impelled faithful men of science to their researches. Men like Frances Bacon, Sir Isaac Newton, Blaise Pascal, James Clerk Maxwell, and Louis Pasteur all read the Bible at face value, often in its original languages. They and many modern scientists who followed have found in the ancient so called “pre-scientific” pages of the Bible an amazing wealth of scientifically accurate observations. The water cycle, The First, and Second Laws of Thermodynamics, and even DNA (139th Psalm) are all found in the Bible.

Why did the Gospel writers record different colors for the robes placed on Jesus during his trials? Isn't it wonderful that the red, white, and purple robes along with his own blue clothing were first predicted in the colors of the veil that would be rent in twain at the moment of His sacrifice? Is it a coincidence that all but one of these colors are still to be seen in the modern American flag? What hidden messages do these colors reveal about our redemption?

The ninth and tenth letters of the English alphabet, i and j, are both dotted. This is reminiscent of the smallest Hebrew letter, the yod, from which the English words “jot” and “dot” derive. It is interesting that the ninth commandment against false witness at the judgment seat corresponds with the little i dotted like a condemned man with his little head-dot separated from his standing body. This is a picture of mankind condemned at the judgment seat as I-dots (or idiots, if you will). The little i in the alphabet is adjacent to the j that corresponds with the Tenth Commandment not to covet. j is also the first letter of Jesus. It is the mind of Christ in us that prevents wanting to sin. The little i resting upon the hook of the j forms an ij that resembles a “U” with two dots as heads. Our behavior depends on which of the dots are making the choices; the condemned judgment i dot or the mind of Christ over the j.

In this presentation we describe the origins of Time, Space, and Matter on day one and how the physical properties of matter were energized and directed. The ordering of the creation and the emergence of life as described in the Bible and confirmed in present-day science fills the rest of the creation week. While this presentation does contain some evidence against ages of evolution, it is focused on what did happen during the creation week.

The historical events that took place on this one small piece of land all point to the purchase of our salvation.

There is nothing that takes place in the physical realm that is not rooted in the supernatural spiritual kingdom. All physical phenomena are parables of the spiritual kingdom. This includes diseases and suffering. Each disease illustrates a spiritual principle. Tuberculosis for instance, while having nothing to do with unconfessed sin as its cause, nevertheless illustrates what happens when sin lies dormant and unconfessed. The Mycobacterium tuberculi infection of a lung may be walled off into a Ghon complex by the body where it rests alive but restrained unconfessed to any medical doctor who might prescribe INH or Rifampin to exterminate it. Unconfessed lust, murder, or theft, that lies dormant never loses power until it is confessed in the open and treated to remove it. The TB infection may break out of its ghon complex when some other disease attacks such as old age, alcoholism, or AIDS. The unconfessed theft or lust may rear its ugly head once debt or lying or some other sin also attacks later in life. Just as alcoholics or patients suffering from AIDS often die from old TB infections that so may the lust or theft destroy a person who never confessed them once even some lesser sin infects their life. Every disease process has a similar message.

The first three chapters of the book of Numbers is brought to life by diagramming the layout of the encampment of the Children of Israel at the Exodus. By applying the proper proportions to a map of the encampment, a cross-shape appears fleshed-out by 2½ million people as they encamped around the Tabernacle of the Wilderness. The symbolism of their tribe ensigns points toward the crucifixion nearly a millennium and a half into their future.

The First and Tenth Chapters of Ezekiel mention the same four creatures that the Fourth Chapter of Revelation describes. These same four beasts are also found on the four corners of the heavens in the constellations and were the ensigns of the closest four tribes encamped around the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. It is impossible to comprehend the prophecies in the Bible without and understanding of these heavenly figures.

Both of these presentations are based on the first seven Hebrew words of the Bible. No knowledge of Hebrew is necessary. The very first word of the Bible is “Beginning” as the very concept of “time” is spoken into existence. The middle word of this most often quoted and read passage is composed of only two letters, but they are the first and the last letters of the Hebrew Alphabet. They represent the Alpha and Omega of Greek, the first and the last of the Lord Jesus in Revelation. But this middle two-letter word has no English equivalent. Its purpose is to bridge the word before it “God” with the creation of the heavens and the earth that follow it. It is a symbol of all language, the whole word, the Word of the First Chapter of the Gospel of John. How these word pictures made of strange looking Hebrew characters portray the Lord Jesus as Creator is the focus of these two presentations.

There is a striking parallel between the arrangement of the furnishings and altars of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness of Moses and the settlement and geography of America . Despite their separation by nearly thirty five centuries and half the circuit of the earth the patterns are amazing. Our present day promised land of the free and home of the brave was entered from the east just like the Tabernacle. We encounter the altar of sacrifice in the squarish state of Pennsylvania at the battlefield of Gettysburg where Lincoln noted that soldiers had “given their last full measure of devotion”. In the westward migration of Manifest Destiny we washed our feet in the Brazen Laver of the Mississippi and passed between the Table of Shewbread to the north and the Menorah oil lamp to the south. The northern breadbasket states of Nebraska and the Dakotas for the bread and the oil of Texas for the lamp stand. The Golden Altar of Incense fits near Golden, Colorado on the steaming incense vapors of Yellow Stone. The Veil of the Rocky Mountains near Vail Colorado matches the position of the Veil that hid the Golden Ark of the Covenant. This parallel is developed in even greater detail with music and lyrics from John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever.

It has nothing whatever to do with numerology or lucky numbers. In fact it is the genuine article that refutes the occult abuse of God's numerical order in both His Word and His Works.

It has become commonplace to think of the earth in terms of millions of years rather than the six thousand years of both secular evidence and the biblical genealogies. Imagine a mild climate without storms or high winds where buildings would be optional. What if you and your neighbors lived longer than the trees in the local woods? What would it have been like to walk with dinosaurs? The real world of Noah before the flood is still important because Jesus said that it would be like the days of Noah upon His Second Coming.
